About Us

I have always been interested in the outdoors growing up I was very lucky to have a great dad who took me fishing, hunting and etc. My Grandpa took me fishing as well. When I became older I was more interested in Deer Hunting and I have my Dad to thank for that. We are lucky to have some quality farm ground with some small woodlots behind our house here in IL where I myself have taken 2 trophy bucks one a non typical 140's class and a very nice 8pt w/12" g2's. My Dad, Phil has taken 3 very nice trophies from 130 class to 150's class.

I started making small items such as the keychains, tie tacks, etc. for some extra cash to buy hunting products in 1998 and became more interested in making other products as time went on. My parents had been looking at log homes for a while and had an interest in Antler Lighting etc. So they purchased 2 lamps from separate people on ebay. One fell off the table and went in pieces as it was glued together the other has to have a prop under it to keep from falling over. So I thought I could do alot better than that.

In 2001 I started making lamps and as time went on we started experimenting with other products including chandeliers and etc. We started out very small-- more of a hobby back then and now this business has grown by more than I could have ever imagined just a few short years ago. We have several repeat customers and pick up new customers on a regular basis.

What sets us apart from other Antler Artists out there today is we strive to make our product with the best possible care and materials possible. This means we only use the best quality Fresh Shed antlers from Moose, Elk, Whitetail, and Mule Deer we do not stain any of our antlers as we feel this takes away from the piece and does not look as natural. All of our products come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and lifetime guarantee on craftsmanship.

Why do people like working with us? Because we are a small Family Business that strives to put the customer first and fit their need and budget. I have several people that help Crooked Creek Antler Art what it is today including my wife Carrie we have been married since April of 1998 and she has given me so much support in this venture. And of course my Mother Carolyn Carr who helps us with our PR work at trade shows once you meet her you will not forget her. And of course my Dad whom has been there for me over the years helping me appreciate Gods great outdoors and the beauty of his creation. Phil Carr is a vital part of Crooked Creek Antler Art; he came up with our name, which Crooked Creek is the township we live in and also Crooked Creek runs through our property. He is the other builder in this business without him we would not be able to offer the products we have available today.

So whether you have bought from us in the past, present, or future we hope you enjoy working with us as much as we enjoy working with you. And as always May God Bless you in the Great Outdoors Eric Carr,
Owner of Crooked Creek Antler Art
