| This is a great daybed. We make this out of rustic lodgepole pine and use a nice crook in the back of the daybed. We have framed the bottom of the daybed so that you can set a link spring on there to support the mattress or you can use a bunkie board to support the mattress. Bunkie boards are simple wood frame boards with a fabric covering and are used in place of a box foundation on bunkbeds or twin beds if you want the mattress lower. We finish this off with a boiled linseed oil finish. If you prefer lacquer, we can lacquer over the oil. This does add to the cost. Please allow 4-5 weeks. NOTE: This price is for the daybed frame only. Link springs, bunkie boards and mattresses are sold separately. |
