| This rustic bookshelf is a beauty! We use wonderful blue pine and keep the live edges on for the rustic effect all over. The bookshelf comes in 2 pieces so it is easy to move. We use nice big logs on all the corners and nice thick blue pine on the tops. The 3 shelves have live edges and we make them adjustable. The bottom of the bookshelf has 2 large drawers to store all your important stuff!! The drawer boxes are made of 7 ply birch which resists shrinking or swelling with weather conditions. The drawers are glued and stapled for stability, then installed on drawer glides. The front of the drawers are pieces of blue pine and topped off with log handles. We finish this piece with boiled linseed oil for that rustic appeal. We can lacquer over the oil if you prefer. This does add to the cost.
