| This rustic chest is a great addition to the 6 drawer dresser. The chest has wonderful 1/2 log aspen drawer fronts that have great color and character. We finish them off with nice aspen log handles. The drawer boxes are constructed of 9 ply birch which won't shrink and swell with different weather conditions. The boxes are glued and stapled for stability, then they are installed, in the chest, on glides. The top of this chest is 1 1/2" blue pine with relief cuts on the under side so the top will not split or warp. The sides of the chest are blue pine with great aspen log trim on the corners. The chest has an oil & lacquer finish. This is another popular piece so we will probably need 4-6 weeks to make this one for you. w)36" d)23" h)50". |
